Norm is the general manager of The Courier newspaper. The Courier was first established on the 1st October in 1880 by the Dumas family and Norman's father, Frank Teare Marston bought shares in it in 1952. The family then became the sole proprietors in 1954.


The Mt Barker Courier now spans four generations, a truly amazing achievement, giving Mount Barker a newspaper to be truly proud of.
