Michelle Wallis is the granddaughter of Hughie Mackenzie Wallis, the founder of Wallis Cinemas. Wallis Cinema’s opened in Mount Barker in 2003, although the family business is much older, and has just celebrated its 70th year of operation.

Michelle is passionate about the restoration of Auchendarroch House and it’s spectacular gardens. It was her father, Bob Wallis’, dream to restore Auchendarroch House and as you spend time there you can feel the emotion that has been poured into it. Michelle, along with her mother Lorna and daughter Deanna, lovingly continue to their family legacy and we should feel honoured to have them here in Mount Barker.
